Located in West Palm Beach’s historic neighborhood of Flamingo Park, just minutes from the beautiful shores of the Atlantic Ocean, is a newly renovated, three-story building, once home to Ragtops Antique Motorcar Museum. Resulting in the resurrection of this 1926, historical property is EmKo, a multi-disciplinary art gallery dedicated to the enrichment of the community through art. EmKo’s core mission is to create an environment that fosters and nurtures undiscovered artists. To accomplish this EmKo provides artists a venue to converge, a platform to share, an opportunity to learn and a stage to grow. Various artistic disciplines are celebrated through visual, performing, literature, media and culinary arts. The introduction of emerging artists through in-house exhibitions will be facilitated by rotating installations and special events.
EmKo consists of two distinct art galleries. The Artist Independent Republic gallery welcomes avant-garde, trendy, and innovative fashion designers, musicians, poets, photographers, sculptors and painters. The Culinary Art gallery incorporates a multi-operational concept featuring a restaurant, coffee shop and organic juice bar, retail gourmet market and bakery. The two entities work collaboratively showcasing aspiring, artistic talent. EmKo provides a platform and an audience for undiscovered artists that may otherwise be out of reach.
